Posted: Thursday - July 29, 2010 | Comments (1)

50 Cent Yesterday (July 28), 50 Cent was guest of ABC’s morning talk show The View where the G-Unit rapper talked about his past, his weight loss and his tattoos removal.

Fif started to talk about his mother, who had him when she was 15 years old and in order to make a living she sold drugs, the same path 50 Cent took later on in his life. 50 claimed he changed his lifestyle and switched to rap music when his son Marquise was born, because he wanted to be a good role model.

Aside from the music industry, 50 is also working on his acting career that has recently forced him to lose over 50 pounds for his leading role of a football player, who suffers from cancer in the film Things Fall Apart. 50 said he managed to lose so much weight in only 9 weeks y working out 3 hours a day and by being on a liquid diet.

However, 50 has gone even further than weight loss to better his acting career. The rapper is having his tattoos removed. He has started with removing those on his arms, because he says it is easier than sitting down for more than 4 hours to try to cover them with make-up.

50 Cent’s new movie Twelve, directed by Joel Schumacher, will premiere on August 6th.
