Posted: Wednesday - July 21, 2010 | Comments (1)

Ice-TYesterday morning (July 20), Ice-T was arrested in New York City. After tweeting his fans that he and his wife Coco were going to take their dog to the vet, Ice-T was pulled over for not wearing seatbelts and for driving with a suspended license.

Ice-T was taken under custody at the 10th Precinct in Chelsea and has been released soon afterwards. Coco, on her Twitter page, confirmed what at first was thought to be just a rumor: “Yes, Ice was arrested this morning but we don't know what the hell for! He's been released. We got pulled over for not wearing seatbelts. I believe when the cop saw Ice he immediately had a hard-on for him & he wanted 2 take him in for something, anything! He was released already.”

As soon as he was released, Ice tweeted his fans claiming that his license was not suspended and that the cop recognized who he was about to arrest and claimed not to care who he was dealing with.

Ice-T goes even further with the declaration, and he reveals not only the name of the cop but also his badge number. “Some punk bitch rookie cop named Fisher #10026 made the arrest of his bullshit career today, arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt.”

Ice-T says the media turned a petty incident into breaking news.
